Seat assignment

Thanks to the new interactive seat map, you can now choose your seats on board our intercontinental flights (routes from Rome and Milan to intercontinental destinations) at the time of booking.

How does it work?
You will be able to access the interactive seat map from the “passenger details” page during the booking process: click on the map to select your seat among those available. Once the seat is selected, its colour on the map will change; at the same time the number of the chosen seat will appear beside the passenger’s name. You can amend your initial selection by clicking on another seat on the map. If you are booking more than one passenger at the time, you can pre-assign the seats for all of them.

You can repeat the same procedure to select your seat for your return flight by using the “next flight” button to move from one flight map to the other.

Once you have chosen your seat you can complete your booking by clicking on “proceed to payment”.

Please note that you will still need to complete the check-in procedures and collect your boarding pass at the airport.

For operational reasons Alitalia may change your selection and assign another seat at the airport.
