What is it?
Door to Door Baggage is the baggage shipping service created to make your travel lighter. When you buy the service, your baggage will be picked up directly at the location indicated by you (home, hotel, office, etc.), sealed and delivered to the desired location on the date requested.
Cost of the service

Additional charge for Saturday and Sunday delivery in Italy: 30 euros every 4 pieces of baggage.
All the prices include the following:
- Baggage pickup and delivery
- Baggage traceability via Web or Call Center
- Text message upon delivery
- Insurance
WHO CAN USE THE SERVICE
Door to Door Baggage, created for Alitalia ticket holders, is available for all domestic routes 7 days out of 7, and for all European routes operated by Alitalia, that have Italy as the departure or destination country, every day except Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
The service will be managed exclusively by Bag Express Company through the UPS network.
We would like to remind you that the service is available up to 24 hours prior to the date established for the pickup.
SECURITY FOR YOUR BAGGAGE
In order to guarantee the utmost security, you can locate your baggage at any time through the www.bagexpress.it website or by calling the Bag Express Customer Service at +39 811 97 06 711 (open Monday-Friday 9:00-20:00).
Every piece of baggage is insured for 500 euros. The insurance coverage will be increased up to a maximum of 1,300 euros upon documentation of the baggage contents. Lastly, a text message will confirm that your baggage has been delivered to its destination.
HOW TO REQUEST THE SERVICE
1. Purchase
Call the dedicated BagExpress number +39 811 97 06 711 or click on the following button to access the Web service.
2. Prepare
Prepare and close your baggage as you normally do.
3. Hand over
An employee will pick up your baggage directly at the address indicated by you.
4. Receive
An employee will deliver your baggage on the date indicated by you, to the address and person indicated.
Make sure that there is always someone at the pickup address and at the delivery address. Always provide the telephone number of the person who will pick up the baggage for you (doorman, neighbour, secretary, etc.)
