In Italy, normally, the following check-in times deadlines apply:
- Domestic flights: 25 minutes, with the exception of Rome and Milan (30 minutes);
- International flights: from 35 to 150 minutes, depending on the airport of departure;
- Intercontinental flights: from 60 to 120 minutes, depending on the airport of departure.
Yes, the service is available (only in Italy) for Ulisse, Freccia Alata and Freccia Alata Plus Club members.

Alitalia has a special two-day course called 'Voglia di Volare' (Fly at ease) at a special cost, designed to help passengers get over their fear of flying (the course is done in Italian).
We have a series of services for children and infants, especially on longer flights. On all intercontinental flights we provide sky cots. You can also ask for special children’s meals at booking time.
During flight and with prior crew approval, you may use electric razors, non digital sound devices and computers not connected to printers or compact disc devices. Mobile phones must be switched off when plane doors have been closed before take-off and until re-opening of doors upon landing.

Initially, services will be based on the airline code except for baggage assistance and the rules to access VIP lounges.
You must check-in with the carrier that will operate your first flight and a boarding pass for the second segment will also be issued (denominated through-check-in).

Yes, only if the fare rules allows the change. You can contact the Alitalia local office.
Yes, starting January 13 the new joint network will be served by both Air One and Alitalia aircraft. It will, therefore, be possible to fly on an Air One aircraft having purchased an Alitalia ticket.
Yes, with the launch of the new network most on-board services will be aligned. For a brief period of time some of the in-flight entertainment will be tied to the aircraft the flight used.
Yes, flight attendants will be at your service to provide necessary information on connections and schedule of the new network. You will also be able to find all the information in the in-flight magazine.
