Alitalia launched a new MilleMiglia Program edition that will include new features and promotions for all its members, first of all, a 'Loyalty Reward'.
Participants in the current edition of the MilleMiglia Program will be automatically enrolled in the new one, except if they request not to join.

The new version of the Program starts with a reward. As a member of the fifteen-year old MilleMiglia Program, with only 2 Alitalia flights in the first 6 months of 2008, you will receive a 'Loyalty Reward' equal to your remaining miles on 30 June 2008.
All miles earned after 1 January 2008 will count toward the new Program, valid between 1 January 2008 - 31 December 2010 (pending any extentions).

Starting 1 January 2008, Freccia Alata and Freccia Alata Plus Members can access the Freccia Alata Lounges with any Alitalia or SkyTeam Partner ticket; all other passengers may enter only if holding an Alitalia or SkyTeam ticket in Magnifica or Business Class.
The same admittance policy is applicable to SkyTeam Lounges or lounges of other Partners who have an agreement with Alitalia.
