Redeem miles with the 2008-2010 Program edition

With the miles earned, you can request award tickets¹ for yourself or your loved ones. The new edition of the Program gives you the option to request One-Way award tickets as well as round-trip tickets, as already established in the 2003-2007 MilleMiglia Program. One-way award tickets may be requested only by redeeming miles earned from 1 January 2008, either in Standard or Plus form, also by using the Online Award Tickets service.  

Standard Award Ticket
Calculate the number of miles required for your One-Way or Round-trip Standard Award tickets (Economy/Business Class).  

Plus Award Ticket
Introduced to offer more opportunities for award travel during high season, the Plus Award ticket offers a greater availability of seats and requires that you spend twice as many miles than for a Standard Award ticket. Furthermore, it allows you to change your destination at any time without penalties and up to 10 kg of excess baggage in addition to the limit set by your Club membership. MultiClass Award Ticket
The MultiClass ticket is the latest offering from Alitalia, giving you full flexibility when arranging your award trips. You can now request award tickets with outbound and inbound flights booked in different cabin classes (Economy and Business/Magnifica).   
For example, for a roundtrip journey Rome-London flying out in Economy class and back in Business class (or vice versa), you will need 32,500 miles: 12,500 miles for the departure in Economy + 20,000 miles for the return in Business.

Award Tickets with a mileage purchase  
If you haven't earned enough miles, you can reach the number required with a small mileage purchase.
The service is available by calling your local Alitalia office.  

Penalties for award ticket changes 
To changes to award tickets where penalties will apply, the amount will be based on the new fees (5,000 miles or 55 euros).

• it's applicable in case of itinerary changes or of changes to the beneficiary
• it's not applicable in case of date or time change, and in case of changes to the beneficiary that require a switch² from a Plus ticket to a Standard or, viceversa, from Standard to a Plus ticket.

1. The number of seats reserved for passengers holding Award tickets is limited. The amount of available seats may vary based on the season when flights are requested.
2. In case the change to the type of ticket (from Plus to Standard) creates a miles residue, these miles will be lost and will not be refunded to the member, under any circumstances.
