Who can use Fast Check-in?
Fast Check-in is available for passengers travelling with an Alitalia electronic ticket to destinations in Italy (excluding Bolzano), Schengen Europe* and to London Heathrow.

It’s allowed both with hand luggage and baggage to register in the hold for departures from London Heathrow, Rome Fiumicino, Milan Linate, Milan Malpensa, Bologna, Catania, Florence, Naples and Venice; from all other airports, exclusively with hand luggage.  

Where to find it
 There are six Fast Check-in machines located at London Heathrow terminal 2:
  • four at the Alitalia check-in area for passengers with baggage. Simply check-in then leave your luggage at the dedicated drop-off desk
  • two new machines located opposite the upstairs security entrance, allowing a quick check-in for passengers with only hand luggage
Fast check-in is also available at the following airports: Rome Fiumicino, Milan Linate, Milan Malpensa, Bari, Brindisi, Bologna, Catania, Florence, Genoa, Lamezia Terme, Naples, Turin, Trieste, Venice, Madrid and Lisbon.

How to use it
 Three easy steps using the touch screen:    
  • confirm your identity with either your passport, MilleMiglia/SkyTeam card, MilleMiglia number, e-ticket number or credit card (not necessarily the card used for ticket purchase, it's only needed to verify your name);
  • confirm your flight and choose a seat;
  • pick up your boarding pass and receipt.
In addition, the service allows you to:
  • change your reservation (with a changeable ticket)
  • check-in up to 4 passengers on the same booking
  • check-in for your return flight if returning the same day
  • through check-in for connecting flights
  • print the Web Check-in boarding pass
  • update your MilleMiglia or SkyTeam frequent flyer number
* Schengen destinations served at Rome Fiumicino:  Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Brussels, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Lisbon, Madrid, Malaga, Munich, Nice, Paris, Stockholm, Thessaloniki, Valencia and Vienna (boarding at Terminal A).
