Web Check-in on Alitalia website Web Check-in makes your travel easier
Once you have purchased your ticket you can:
  • Check-in up to 7 passengers online
  • Select your seat onboard and change your selection afterwards
  • Print your boarding pass at home, receive it via e-mail or collect it at the airport.
  • Cancel your check-in
With the new features, you may now: 
  • check-in for connecting flights, even if operated by Partner carriers (where there is an interline  agreement)
  • check-in for a return flight if scheduled for the same day and travelling with only hand luggage
  • check-in for an earlier or later departing flight if travelling on a changeable ticket


Availability of the service
Web check-in is available from 20 hours up to one hour prior to departure.

On the day of departure, please arrive at the airport before the check-in time limits. If you don’t have your boarding pass when you get to the airport, you can collect it from a Fast Check-in machine, or from the designated check-in desks or VIP lounges.

Where available, you can quickly register your luggage at a Fast Drop-off Desk.

Please note:

(Check-in service between Italy and UK is temporarily suspended)

Passengers departing from London Heathrow should arrive at the terminal no later than 40 minutes before departure. Web check-in is not available for infants, child passengers under the age of 14 or passengers requiring special assistance. For more information, please contact Alitalia on 08714 24 14 24.
