How to get to the greatest airport hub in Northern Italy from Milan city. 

By car 
Highway A8 (Autostrada A8 Laghi) exit Busto Arsizio/Malpensa; then, take the State Road SS 336 till Malpensa (the average journey time from the city centre to the airport is 50').

Airport Shuttle Bus 
Connects Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, as they are quite distant from each other. The free shuttle bus service runs:
- every ten minutes (from 5.30 a.m. to 00.30 a.m.)
- every hour (from 00.30 a.m. to 05.30 a.m.). 
It stops at arrivals (gate 6) and at the railway station.

Taxi 
The taxi stand is in the arrivals area of Terminal 1, at exits 4 and 5.

MALPENSA EXPRESS FERROVIE NORD MILANO - (http://www.ferrovienord.it/en/index.php) Timetable and tickets information:  Ph. +39 02 20222	Malpensa airport to Milan Cadorna Railway station & vv.  Trains also stop at Milano Bovisa, Saronno and Busto Arsizio.  Departure from: Terminal 1 - Floor -1 railway station; every 30'; transfer time: 40' Tickets sold on board. Substitutive bus journey on Sundays (*) Malpensa Express to Milano Cadorna (*instead of train).

Timetable: from 5.00 a.m. to 11.15 p.m. Every day, every 20'; nightly connections from 1st July to 31 August 0.30 a.m. - 1.30 a.m. - 3.00 a.m. - 4.15 a.m. - 5.00 a.m. - 5.20 a.m. - 5.40 a.m. Transfer time:  50' Tickets sold at Passaggi Agency or onboard the bus. Note: The bus makes the stop only on the occasion of fairs/exhbitions at the Polo Fieristico Rho/Pero.
