TrainFiumicino – Main station (Termini) - Fiumicino
The Leonardo Express train (which takes 30 minutes) leaves every 30 minutes and is non-stop:
- leaving from Fiumicino: first train 07.37, last train 22.37
- leaving from Termini: first train 06.51, last train 21.51
The journey takes approximately 45 minutes, and trains leave every 15 minutes:
- leaving from Fiumicino: first train 06.27, last train 21.27
- leaving from Fara Sabina (via Tiburtina): first train 05.26, last train 21.56
The trains stop at: Ponte Galeria, Muratella, Villa Bonelli, Magliana, Trastevere, Ostiense, Tuscolana, Tiburtina, Nomentana, Nuovo Salario, Fidene, Settebagni, Monterotondo, Pianabella di Montelibretti.
Shuttle bus
This service connects the long-stay car park with the domestic and international terminals. It is a free service which runs every 15 minutes (from 07.00 to 22.00) and every 20 minutes (from 22.00 to 07.00). It stops at the arrivals area for both the domestic and international terminals.

Motorway: Rome-Fiumicino. Distance from the city centre: 32 km; average time from city centre to airport: 50 minutes.
By bus
There is a bus service (operated by COTRAL) that connects the airport with Ciampino train station and the underground stop at Anagnina. The service runs from 06.50 to 23.40.
Night bus service: Fiumicino-Roma Tiburtina runs from 01.15 to 05.00; Roma Tiburtina-Fiumicino from 00.30 to 03.45.
