Alitalia renews its onboard catering service in the Magnifica class*. The project aims at promoting Italian wine and food specialties in the world.

The Italian flavour in flying
When you fly in Magnifica, you will discover a plain cooking rich in flavours. The menu recipes, prepared by some of the best Italian chefs, combine the quality original products with the best Italian cooking tradition. The result is a very varied menu, underlined with a wide selection of Italian wines; to choose them onboard cabin staff will be there for you.

Every month, discover the flavours of Italian regional cuisine in our most exclusive class.
For example, as of February 1, all recipes are dedicated to the Veneto cuisine.
The cooking reflects the region, where a rich artistic heritage accompanies living in a well preserved nature and the ancient knowledge of those who practice farming with passion. A well nurtured land that in return produces some of the most esteemed products in Italy, used in our recipes, such as cheese varieties Asiago Dop and Grana Padano Dop, Treviso Red Chicory Igp and the Castelfranco Variegated Igp or Extravergin Olive Oil of Garda Dop.
