TRAVEL INFORMATION
Dublin
Dublin airport is conveniently located about 6 miles north of Dublin City Centre.It is situated near the M50 and M1 motorways. You can get to the airport by bus, taxi or car.

BY BUS
From Dublin Area
Aircoach offers service from City Centre and South Dublin City to the airport. Their service runs 24 hours, every day. Tickets can be purchased from the Bus Driver and cost approximately €6.00 (one-way) or €10 (return).
This service stops at most of the major hotels around Dublin City.
Dublin Bus offers many routes throughout Dublin to the airport, including an AirLink express bus from Heuston and Connolly Rail Stations. For the latest route details and timetable information click the following www.dublinbus.ie.
Urbus offers service between Castleknock-Blanchardstown Shopping Centre and the Airport.
Service is every half-hour at peak.
From the North of Dublin
BusEireann operates services from Dublin Airport to Dundalk (Route 100), to Belfast (Route 1/200) an Expressway service co-shared with Ulsterbus from stop 8 (Arrivals Road). Bus Eireann's Nationwide Coach Network (over 1,000 destinations served including Galway - Waterford - Cork - Rosslare) can be accessed at the Central Bus Station (Busaras) via the Airlink service from Dublin Bus at stop 1 (Arrivals Road).
From the South of Dublin
J J Kavanagh and Ardcavan provide service from Wexford to Dublin Airport.
From the West of Dublin
Bus Nestor and CITYLINK operates a bus service from Galway to Dublin Airport.
BY TAXI
You can get a taxi from the airport to most areas in Dublin. An average day fare from City Centre should be around €15.00. Ask the taxi driver to estimate the fare before getting into the car if in doubt. There are extra charges for additional passengers, luggage, animals (other than guide dog), time of day, Sundays, and public holidays. BY CAR
The airport is easy to access from the M50 or M1/N1.
- Coming from the South or West - Most major national roads (N81, N7, N4, N3, N2) lead to the M50 ring road. Head north on the M50 to the north M1 exit and stay in the left lane. The airport roundabout is the first traffic light you will reach. Just follow the signpost directions to long-term parking, short-term parking, or departures.
- Coming from the North - The N1/M1 heading south will take you directly to the airport roundabout. Just follow the signpost directions.
- Coming from the East - Heading north on the N1/M1 will take you directly to the airport roundabout. Just follow the signpost directions.
- Returning a rental car -Contact your car hire agent for details on where to return your car, as there are locations both within the airport and outside.
There is currently no train service directly to the airport, however taxi and bus services are available from most train stations throughout the Dublin area to the airport.
Dublin Bus runs from Heuston and Connolly rail stations and AerDart from Howth Junction Dart station.
