Amsterdam Schiphol

TRAIN
You can reach Schiphol Airport from any Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS) train stations in the Netherlands and in most cases you will be able to reach the airport with no more than one stop over. 
Schiphol Airport train arrival is underneath Schiphol Plaza, the central terminal hall. You can pick up a free baggage trolley from the platform and, via Schiphol Plaza, you can walk straight to the departure or arrival hall. 

Direct or change
From many stations, you can travel to Schiphol either directly or with one change. Important railway hubs include Amsterdam Sloterdijk and Duivendrecht, where the trains come into these stations at two different levels/floors. If you have to change at one of these stations, your connecting train will depart from another level to the one on which you arrived. 

Night train
If you are departing/arriving at night or in the early morning, the NS night network could be the answer. The night trains travel once an hour between Utrecht CS - Amsterdam CS - Schiphol - Leiden CS - Den Haag CS - Delft and Rotterdam CS and vice versa. 

Train tickets
An Amsterdam Center -Schiphol Airport train trip costs about € 3.40 one way, or € 6 roundtrip. A range of discounts can apply for further information please contact the NS at the www.ns.nl.
Train departure information and tickets (for domestic and international travel) are available from the ticket offices of the NS, which are situated close to the red/white-checked cube at Schiphol Plaza. 
You can also buy your train ticket on the Internet. NS International (www.ns.nl) offers the chance to buy tickets for national and international train journeys on, among others, the Thalys, ICE International, CityNightLine and Eurostar. You will receive your tickets by post. Payment takes place in a secure environment.

SHUTTLE BUS
The Connexxion Airport Hotel Shuttle is the ultimate airport hotel shuttle to get you to your hotel, the RAI congress centre or Schiphol Airport in no time.  
The Connexxion airport hotel shuttle is a daily hotel shuttle between Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and more than 55 hotels in and around Amsterdam. The air-conditioned coaches leave Amsterdam Schiphol Airport at least every 20 minutes, although during peak periods the frequency is higher.  

At Schiphol Airport the buses leave from platform A7 (in front of Arrivals hall 2) and from the RAI entrance 22.  
Tickets and information can be obtained from the Connexxion desk at Schiphol (Arrivals hall 2), the reception at the RAI entrance 22 and your hotel reception desk.

TAXI
You can take a taxi to travel to or from Schiphol. You can also order a taxi ride in advance of your travel. Your taxi driver will then be waiting for you at the Schiphol Transfer Assistance desk (STA) at Schiphol Plaza.

BUS
Schiphol is easy to get to by bus from Amsterdam. There are a number of bus lines that connect the city to the airport:
