Stop over in rome: "Habemus Papam"

Stop over in rome for 48 hours and celebrate the new pope with us

Specially for the election of the new Pope, the MilleMiglia Program offers you a unique opportunity.
If you issue an Alitalia award ticket* with transit in Rome (on the outgoing or return flight) you may request a voluntary stopover up to a maximum of 48 hours to visit the Eternal City before going on to your final destination.

For the period of the promotion, which constitutes an exception to MilleMiglia regulations, you may call the dedicated Customer Service or the Alitalia Local Office and request a stopover. Your booking will be modified and your national or medium-haul international flight will be brought forward or postponed (award areas AZ0, AZ1, AZ2, AZ3).
During your stay in Rome, you may visit St. Peter’s Basilica to welcome the new Pope.

Claim your Alitalia award ticket now and enjoy a firsthand experience of this event.

*Award tickets issued between 13 March and 13 April 2013 with transit at Rome Fiumicino no later than 30 April 2013.

For quick transfers, call the taxi service of the Cooperativa Samarcanda, offering a special “Friendly rate” of 45€ instead of 48€ to and from Fiumicino airport and the centre of Rome (within the Aurelian Walls); you may accrue up to 2 miles for each Euro you spend.

Refer to “Promo cod 5551” when you book your taxi.

To get the most out of your stay in Rome, rent a car with Maggiore.

You will be granted special reductions and up to 1,200 miles, according to which Club you belong to.
Remember to give your MilleMiglia code when you book and when you collect your vehicle.

Stay at one of the partner hotels of the Program and take advantage of the offers open to MilleMiglia Members.
Remember to give your MilleMiglia code when you book and to show your membership card when you check in at the hotel.
