Terminal 1 Alitalia

The new Alitalia Terminal 1 (former Terminal A) at Rome Fiumicino airport, inaugurated October 27, 2009, is entirely dedicated to Alitalia, as in all other major airports where largest international airline companies fly.

We also remind you that change of terminal naming concerned all the Fiumicino ones, that turned into Terminal 2 (former terminal AA) and Terminal 3 (former terminals B and C).

Terminal 1 has easily recognisable, impressive signs and with an ongoing communication campaign– characterized by the jingle "Alitalia at work for you" ("Alitalia, al lavoro per te") – where the new Alitalia products introduced are described.

All check-in for Alitalia flights to domestic and European Schengen destinations can be carried out here. Check-in is also done for code-share partners Air France and KLM flights to France and the Netherlands.

You can also pick up your boarding pass in less than a minute using the Fast Check-in machines.

The new Rome Milan brand, introduced along with Terminal 1, characterises dedicated products to Italy’s most important business leg and among the busiest in Europe.

Easily recognisable by an extremely new design, it allows fast going-through to gain time in reaching boarding gates, dedicated parking areas, chauffeured car rental service, a tickets’ booklet that offer maximum flexibility and saving.
