Charity Program

You can donate the miles you’ve earned under the 2008-2012 edition to any one of the Charity Program’s Humanitarian Organizations, an initiative which allows you to offer your support, through the MilleMiglia Program, to those working to help the less fortunate. Please note that you have time up until June 30th 2013 to donate your miles from the 2008-2012 Edition.

How to donate

Via e-mail, by writing to clubmillemiglia.charity@alitalia.it specifying: 

  • your MilleMiglia code 
  • your name and surname
  • the number of miles you wish to donate (at least 1,500) 
  • the beneficiary organization

The confirmation of your donation will be sent to you via e-mail.
Please note that you can only make donations if you haveat least 10,000 miles in your account, and that the miles on the 2013 account can not be combined with those of the 2008-2012 Edition.

You can request further information regarding the MilleMiglia Charity Program by calling the Customer Centre at 89 20 10 (for MilleMiglia members) or Customer Service at 06 65 644 (for Ulisse and Freccia Alata Members). Freccia Alata Plus Members can call the dedicated phone number.

Ail: it is an italian organization which supports leukaemia research and helps children and their families suffering of the illness.

Associazione Comitato Aurora Onlus: it is an italian organization which offers support and house assistance for children sufferning from Adrenoleukodistrophy (ALD).

Associazione Peter Pan: it is an italian organization which helps children and their families in the cancer ward at the Bambino Gesù and Umberto I hospitals in Rome.

Community of Sant'Egidio: it's a italian movement of lay people and has more than 50,000 members, dedicated to evangelisation and charity, in Rome, Italy and in more than 70 countries throughout the world.

Fondazione Banco Alimentare Onlus: the Italian Food Bank is daily engaged in recovering food surplus and in redistributing it for free to more than 8,000 charity associations helping 1,500,000 poor people in our country. In 2010, thanks to the work of more than 1,200 volunteers, it has been possible to gather and save from destruction 80,000 tons of perfectly edible food.

Medecins Sans Frontieres: Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international medical humanitarian organization created in France in 1971, and awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1999. MSF provides aid in nearly 60 countries to people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe, primarily due to armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, exclusion from health care, or natural disasters. It reserves the right to speak out to bring attention to neglected crises, to challenge inadequacies or abuse of the aid system, and to advocate for improved medical treatments.

Operation Smile Italia Onlus, established in Italy in 2000, is part of Operation Smile Inc, a humanitarian global organization made up of volunteer doctors, nurses and paramedics who provide free reconstructive surgery to children born with facial deformities, primarily cleft lips and palates, burns and other traumas in 51 countries in the world.

Save the Children: Save the Children is the world’s leading independent organization for children, that since 1919, makes a difference to children’s lives in over 120 countries. Save the Children fights for children’s rights and delivers immediate and lasting improvements to children’s lives that help to make them healthy, educated and protected.
