How to earn miles
From 1/01/07, MilleMiglia members can earn miles with Starwood Hotels & Resorts based on spend (total amount paid at check-out).
 In fact you will now earn:
- Starwood Preferred Guest members: 2 miles per U.S. dollar spent
- Gold Preferred Guest® and Platinum Preferred Guest® members: 3 miles per U.S. dollar spent

The new accrual system is valid on all qualifying charges at Sheraton, Four Points, W, The Luxury Collection, Le Méridien, Westin and St Regis Hotels & Resorts worldwide.  
In order to earn miles, you will first need to become a member of Starwood Preferred Guest, Starwood’s own loyalty program. 
Enrolments can be done at SPG.com/moremiles, at hotel check in, or by calling the SPG Customer Contact Center (see numbers below), where you should ask to enroll and earn Alitalia miles.  
If you are already Starwood Preferred Guest member, you need to update your accrual profile directly at SPG.com/moremiles, at hotel check in, or by calling the SPG Customer Contact Center (see numbers below), requesting to earn Alitalia miles.

You can still convert Starpoint points into Alitalia miles, as the next scheme:
- 1 Starpoint point = 1 Alitalia mile.
