A city that’s easy to explore on foot, with a vast array of narrow streets and little marketplaces: with Alitalia’s flights to Pisa, you’ll find yourself marveling at one of Tuscany’s most picturesque cities.

Select your preferred travel dates and the number of travellers who will be accompanying you, check for availability, and book your flight to Pisa: one of Italy’s four ancient Maritime Republics.

Any tour of Pisa should begin with Ponte di Mezzo, passing through Borgo Stretto and ultimately arriving at Piazza dei Cavalieri, which is overlooked by the Church of the Knights of Santo Stefano, Palazzo della Carovana (home to the Scuola Normale Superiore), the Clock Tower and Palazzo del Consiglio dei Dodici.

The city’s main architectural attractions can be found in Piazza dei Miracoli, which has been nominated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site: the Leaning Tower, the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, the Cemetery and the Baptistery.

Strolling along the banks of the Arno River, visitors will encounter the Church of Santa Maria della Spina. Other places of interest include the Botanical Gardens, the Opera del Duomo Museum, the National Museum of San Matteo, the Sinopie Museum, Agostini Palace, the Royal Palace, the Medici Palace and the Palace of Wisdom, which is now home to the University of Pisa.

Other nearby attractions include the park of San Rossore and Lake Massaciuccoli.
