This year sees the sixteenth edition of Chocofest, the event that celebrates chocolate in the town of Gradisca in the province of Gorizia. Squares ready to be flooded with rivers of cocoa from holy cities such as Modica and Brussels, noses that are preparing to be intoxicated by irresistible smells, wine and food itineraries to enjoy the first fruits of local and international lands: the chocolate festival spans four days to become an open-air theater.
Featuring artisans and maître chocolatiers with their products, workshops, tasting guides and themed meetings. And, of course, the center of attention, chocolate in all its forms: from hot chocolate to cocktails, from pralines to decoration.
Expect a gourmet schedule full of events: you won't sleep a wink with the joint initiatives, the stalls along the ancient castle walls, the official award ceremonies, the parades and exhibitions. How can you resist?

Celebrating 27 years the festive Sapori di Carnia (flavors of Carnia) is an occasion that makes the mouths of its frequent visitors water every year. The towns of the land overlooking the Alps bring to life the eagerly-awaited market of agricultural and food products from the area.
The authenticity of Friulian cuisine, humble but tasty, offers ancient recipes and local specialties against the backdrop of unmistakable landscapes. Polenta, cheeses, speck, sausages, potatoes and beans: the scents of pine trees and berries, which gracefully decorate the streets, mix with the smell wafting from the pans. The sweet smell of jams, homemade spirits and typical biscuits surrounds visitors and passers-by.
Enjoy your trip in Friuli Venezia Giulia!
