New international connections
From the end of March, Alitalia will continue its international network expansion plan by launching eight new international connections departing from the hub of Rome Fiumicino.
In detail, the new international destinations served by Alitalia will be:
- Copenhagen (Denmark), Krakow (Poland), Ekaterinburg (Russia), Oran (Algeria) and Podgorica (Montenegro), connected to Rome Fiumicino three times a week
- Bilbao (Spain) and Montpellier (France), with flights two times a week
- Antalya (Turkey) and Djerba (Tunisia), new seasonal destinations for the summer with connections between June and September
These eight new routes are added to the six international and intercontinental connections, all from the Company hub at Rome Fiumicino, which Alitalia opened between 2012 and the beginning of 2013: Tbilisi (from July 5, 2012), Zurich (from October 29, 2012), Abu Dhabi (from December 1, 2012), Yerevan (from December 11, 2012), Fortaleza (from January 14, 2013) and Prague (from January 29, 2013).
