Payment Methods, Service Charges and Refunds

To purchase your tickets on our website, choose one of the following payment methods:

Or you can charge your personal account:

SALES CHANNELS
A service charge applies* to ticket purchases, at the following variable amount:

- Online purchase
The service is free of charge.

- Call center purchase
EUR 9.5 per ticket purchased at the time of booking
EUR 12 per domestic ticket purchased after booking
EUR 15* per international and intercontinental ticket purchased after booking


Purchase from ticket desks managed by Alitalia   
EUR 12 per national ticket
EUR 25 per international ticket within the Schengen Area and Switzerland
EUR 35 per ticket for all other destinations

MilleMiglia award ticket
The service charge only applies to call center purchases, if it is also possible to purchase the ticket from alitalia.com. The service charge is not applicable if the award ticket can only be purchased through the call center (e.g. date change/itinerary change/award upgrade).

* The service charge is not applicable in the following cases:
- Passengers under 2 years old
- territorial continuity rates.


REFUNDS
A fee of EUR 20 per ticket for administration costs is applicable on all complete or partial ticket refund requests, for flights canceled by the passenger.
The fee, regardless of whether there is a refund penalty, applies on all tickets excluding those in Magnifica, Classica Plus, Economy/Libera Class and for flights with territorial continuity tariffs.
Airport taxes and security taxes can always be reimbursed for all tariffs.
If the reimbursable amount is less than the administration fee, no amount will be reimbursed.
