Conditions

  1. The bonus is reserved for the Main Cardholder, provided that he/she has never previously been the holder of an Alitalia Platinum American Express Card, and will be credited within 8 weeks of the issuance of the Card itself.

  2. Miles will not be awarded for the following: cash advances, foreign currency purchases, American Express Travelers Check purchases, purchases which are later returned and refunded, the cost of annual membership fees and taxes thereon, nor transactions at gas station pumps. The 2 or 3 qualifying miles will not be awarded for Alitalia tickets purchased at travel agencies that do not use the Alitalia IATA code, or rather in the event that the Alitalia flight purchased is included within a travel package (such as flight & car rental packages or flight & hotel packages). Miles received for tickets that were later reimbursed will not be immediately subtracted from the MilleMiglia account, but will be considered as an advance on later flights: the Cardholder will not earn any more miles on subsequent flights until the miles received in advance have been recovered

  3. The maintenance of the cardholder's status is strictly linked to the renewal of the Alitalia Platinum American Express Card.

  4. The Exclusive Bonus is awarded for all flights in booking classes for which miles may be accumulated (excluding any promotions) and is calculated based on the miles earned for each Economy class flight (the maximum mileage for which the Exclusive Bonus applies is that which is awarded for booking classes K, V, and T in the mileage accrual table). The miles earned with the Exclusive Bonus may not be used to gain access to Alitalia's Exclusive Clubs. The crediting of the Exclusive Bonus is subject to the Member's recognition as a Freccia Alata Club member within Alitalia's systems.

  5. The benefits may be subject to limitations by the individual Skyteam Airline Partners.

  6. Requests for award tickets are subject to the number of miles available on the MilleMiglia account at the time of the request. For more details, view the regulations at americanexpress.it/companion.

  8. Access to the Lounge is available only in airports where Alitalia operates with its own flights. Cardholders who fail to confirm their membership of the Freccia Alata Club will only be able to access the Lounge if they also hold a Alitalia Platino Base Card.

The Cardholder shall remain fully liable for any illicit use by third parties that is directly caused by the Cardholder's misconduct or serious negligence, in compliance with the terms of the Regulations, or in the case of unjustified delay in informing American Express of the loss, theft or unauthorised use of the Card.
