MILLEMIGLIA SELF SERVICE

With MilleMiglia Self Service, you can manage by yourself the many services related to your taking part in the Program: no waiting, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

 

You can request miles to be added to your account for a flight you purchased, request a reward ticket, update your personal data and much more. Find out here how to do it and use the buttons to directly access the services.

 

Please note: to make the best use of these services you need to access your Personal Area using your MilleMiglia code and PIN credentials (or username and password). Your MilleMiglia code is shown on all communications sent by the Program. If you don’t remember your PIN, you can ask for it using the PIN Recover function. Enter your MilleMiglia code and your Surname and the PIN will be sent to the email address registered in your profile.

UPDATING PERSONAL DATA

Always keep your personal data up to date! In this way, you can receive important information and be among the first to get the latest Program news.

Your email address is an essential channel for keeping in touch with MilleMiglia. Via email, you are sent important updates about your status as a Member as well as information about promotions that allow you to earn additional miles.

Your telephone number is an important channel of communication, but is only used in exceptional cases. If you provide your mobile phone number, you can receive information and special offers immediately via text messages.

To update your personal data, follow these steps:

  • access your Personal Area
  • select “Your Profile” in the dropdown menu
  • enter the section “Personal Data”
  • update your contact details
  • confirm by clicking “Update Data”

CONSENT TO COMMUNICATIONS

The MilleMiglia program periodically sends information and special offers, via email or text messages. You can choose whether to receive these only from Alitalia or also from our Business Partners.

You are, of course, free not to receive any communications, except for the institutional ones, containing service information about your status as a Member, which we are obliged to send you.

Your data is used exclusively for purposes relating to your participation in the Program and is not transferred to third parties under any circumstances.

DESTINATIONS AND AVAILABILITY ON ALITALIA FLIGHTS

Are you thinking about your next trip, but haven’t chosen your destination yet? Have you already got an idea about where to go and want to check schedules, fares and seat availability?

The alitalia.com website is the best channel for:

  • getting information on all current and future destinations in Italy, Europe and the world, served by Alitalia, the Skyteam Partners and other Partner Airlines
  • viewing the best available offers and all promotions and offers
  • checking seat availability in real time
  • purchasing the tickets for your next trip

 

You can easily browse through all content published on the alitalia.com website using your tablet or smartphone, at any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

 

PURCHASE YOUR FLIGHT 

AWARD TICKET

Use the miles you have earned to request an award ticket to the destination of your dreams. You can choose to go there with an Alitalia flight, or with the SkyTeam Partners or other Partner Airlines*. Use the tables to check the miles you need for the ticket to be issued and remember that award tickets do not entitle you to earn miles.

You can book a ticket for yourself or a loved one, going one-way or on a round-trip and choosing the service class you prefer (Economy, Premium Economy or Magnifica).

To request your award ticket, follow these steps:

  • access your Personal Area
  • select “Award Tickets” in the dropdown menu
  • choose your dates and your destination, indicating the airport for your departure and arrival
  • select your flight from the “standard” ones available, indicated in the columns in green
  • check and enter all the required data: the fields are pre-populated with your data, but if you give your award to another person, make sure you enter all the details and the MilleMiglia code of the beneficiary, if they are registered with the Program
  • choose your seat
  • complete the transaction

 

If you like, you can use miles instead of your credit card, to cover the cost of taxes and supplements, (using the cursor).

You will receive the electronic ticket via e-mail; the miles used will be deducted at the same time from your miles balance.

 

 

LOGIN AND REQUEST AN AWARD TICKET! 

 

* Award tickets on flights operated by our Partner Airlines ANA - All Nippon Airways, GOL, China Eastern and Shanghai Airlines, can only be requested through the Call Center

 ** Award tickets in Premium Economy, on Alitalia flights, can only be requested through the Call Center.

CASH&MILES

Through this option, your miles can become an immediate discount to pay for your Alitalia ticket in full or in part: 10,000 miles are worth a discount of about € 30..

And the benefits don't stop here! The flights you buy with your miles allow you to earn other miles you can use to get further discounts.

To use your miles as a discount, follow these steps:

  • access your Personal Area
  • select “Award Tickets” in the dropdown menu
  • choose your dates and your destination, indicating the airport for your departure and arrival
  • select your flight from the ones available, indicated in the columns in purple
    (Important notice. Two figures are shown for each available flight: the miles you need to cover the full price and the amount of taxes, in euros. Depending on your total miles, at payment you can decide how many you wish to use, for taxes as well.)
  • check and enter all the required data: the fields are pre-populated with your data, but if you give your award to another person, make sure you enter all the details and the MilleMiglia code of the beneficiary, if they are registered with the Program
  • choose your seat
  • when paying, decide how many miles you wish to use (using the cursor) and how much you wish to pay by credit card
  • complete the transaction

 

When choosing the flight, the amount in Euros is just a rough guide: you will be able to decide how many miles and how much cash you wish to use to pay for the ticket.

You will receive the electronic ticket immediately via e-mail; the miles used will be deducted at the same time from your balance.

 

 

LOGIN AND USE YOUR DISCOUNT!

 

ACCOUNT STATEMENT

The situation of your miles is always available in your Personal Area and is kept up to date in real time:

  • available miles balance
  • earned miles and miles spent
  • qualifying miles and qualifying flights in the current year (for access to the Exclusive Clubs)

In addition, you can also check in your account statement the details of your activities with the Program. For example, how many miles you earned with your last flight, the addition to your account of the bonus miles from promotions provided by the Program or a Business Partner, or the number of miles used to have an award ticket issued.

The last 20 transaction are immediately visible, but you can make a search based on specific activities (flights or services provided by Business Partners) and periods, starting from a specific date.

The data is updated in real time. If you have provided your MilleMiglia code successfully, your miles will be registered and displayed based on the following time scales:

  • miles for Alitalia flights, SkyTeam Partner flights and those of other Partner Airlines are added within two weeks from the flight date
  • miles earned with Business Partners follow different time patterns for each Partner; we suggest you check on the page of the Partner
  • miles used to request award tickets or used with the Cash&Miles option are subtracted in real time

 

Please note: “Bonus miles” transactions related to Alitalia or Business Partner promotions, are shown separately from the “standard” accumulated miles to which they refer.

Viewing your account statement is simple and straightforward, just follow these steps:

  • access your Personal Area
  • select “Account Statement” in the dropdown menu
  • filter the type of activity and the period, if necessary
  • check the amount of miles earned or used for each activity

MISSING MILES

If you provided your MilleMiglia code when purchasing a ticket, the miles of Alitalia flights are automatically added to your account within two weeks from the date of the flight.

If they have not been added to your account within this period, you can request them using the Missing Miles Service. You can only request miles from Alitalia flights or when at least one flight of your journey was with Alitalia, if the itinerary involved other Airlines.

To request your missing miles, follow these steps:

  • access your Personal Area
  • enter your ticket details, by selecting the 3 digits of the ticket code (from the drop-down menu) and then entering the remaining 10 digits.
  • confirm by clicking “Send”

 

If you failed to provide your MilleMiglia code when purchasing your Alitalia ticket, you can still claim the missing miles using the Missing Miles service within 4 months from the date of the flight.

RECOVER YOUR MILES!  

BUY MILES

Are you missing just a few miles to claim your award ticket? Do you need to transfer them to the account of a loved one? Do you want to surprise someone by giving them some miles?

 

You can buy, give away or transfer miles with just a few clicks. Follow these steps:

  • access your Personal Area
  • select “Your Profile” in the dropdown menu
  • select the “Rewards and Services” label and click on the “Buy Miles” button
  • choose the operation you want to do: buy, give away or transfer miles
  • choose the number of miles
  • enter all the required data and complete the transaction

 

If you give miles to someone, the Member receiving them will get an e-mail containing a confidential code and all the instructions on how to receive them on their account.

MESSAGES

Some communications about your status as a Member of the Program are sent directly to your Personal Area.

To check your messages, follow these steps:

  • access your Personal Area
  • select “Your Profile” in the dropdown menu
  • select the “Messages” label

SOCIAL LOGIN

 

Access your Personal Area and MilleMiglia services with the credentials of your favourite social network*.

To associate your profile to a social network, follow these steps:

 

  • access your Personal Area
  • select “Your Profile” in the dropdown menu
  • Enter the section “Social Login”
  • Choose your favourite one from among the available social networks, and enter your credentials
  • to authorise your choice, enter your MilleMiglia credentials (username/password or MilleMiglia code/PIN)
  • confirm by clicking “Update Data”

You can disable this access mode at any time, by repeating these steps. However, to access the Personal Area, you can continue to use your MilleMiglia credentials.

 

* Some services will nevertheless require you to enter your username/password or MilleMiglia code/PIN to confirm and then finalize a transaction.
