Due to the current Covid-19 emergency, our in-flight service will be carried out in ways to reduce contact and guarantee safe passage and stationing of the flight crew throughout the cabin. Food and drink will be supplied in single sealed portions, adhering to the highest hygiene standards.
On long-haul flights, medical-dietary meals (gluten-free, diabetic) and religious meals (kosher, Muslim) remain available.
On medium-haul flights, special meals are temporarily unavailable.
For international flights with a duration of less than three hours, the service includes a snack accompanied by a selection of drinks. For flights lasting for longer than three hours, a tray is served containing a variety of innovative and delicious cold food.
On flights from Italy to intercontinental destinations, two services are provided: one with a starter, main course (choice between meat or pasta) and fruit or dessert and a second snack or breakfast service, depending on the time of the flight. The third service, which consists of a snack and a drink, is only served on flights with a duration of 11 hours or more. It is also possible to request a special meal.*
On all flights, regardless of their duration, passengers can taste Lavazza's new instant coffeee, created from a 100% Arabica blend and making its debut on Alitalia flights!
*Except for flights from Rome to Tel Aviv and vice versa, from Catania and Palermo to Moscow and vice versa, and from Catania and Venice to St. Petersburg and vice versa, where the service remains the same.
