1.1  The terms and expressions in these Regulations are defined as follows, unless otherwise specified:


“Alitalia Loyalty” means Alitalia Loyalty S.p.A., with registered office in Fiumicino (RM), Via Alberto Nassetti snc, Pal. Alfa, with paid-up share capital of EUR 500,000.00, tax code, VAT no. and entry number on the Rome Companies Register 1223187100, R.E.A. (Repertorio Economico Amministrativo — economic and administrative index) no. 1359262.

"Airline" or "Alitalia" means Alitalia – Società Aerea Italiana S.p.A. with registered office in 00054 Fiumicino (RM), Via Alberto Nassetti snc, Pal. Alfa, with paid-up share capital of EUR 103,105,126.99., tax code, VAT reg. no. and entry number on the Rome Companies Register 13029381004, R.E.A. (Repertorio Economico Amministrativo — economic and administrative index) of Rome no. 1418603.

"MilleMiglia Card" means a plastic card (loyalty card) bearing the Member's first name, last name and personal numerical code (MilleMiglia code) issued by the Promoters, which can be used to enjoy the services offered by the Program.

“Co-branded Card” means a plastic card bearing the logos of the Promoters and a Partner, which can be used as a loyalty card and a credit card and to which specific benefits can be linked.

"Exclusive Clubs" means the "Ulisse Club," "Freccia Alata Club" and "Freccia Alata Plus Club". Membership of these Exclusive Clubs is granted to Members as set out in these Regulations, and entitles them to special services and benefits.

"SkyTeam Airline" or "SkyTeam Airlines" mean the Partner or Partners, respectively, that belong to the SkyTeam Alliance, as per Appendix A, which can be viewed on the website www.alitalia.com.

"Program Communications" means all communications relating to the Program that will be published from time to time on the website www.alitalia.com and/or in other media relating to the Program, such as brochures, e-magazines, newsletters, etc.

"General Conditions of Carriage (or GCC)" means the conditions of the contract governing the provision of general economic interest services, consisting of the carriage of passengers and baggage, which can be viewed on the website www.alitalia.com.

“Co-Holders” means, pursuant to Article no. 28 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Privacy Code), Alitalia Loyalty S.p.A. and Alitalia - Società Aerea Italiana S.p.A.

"Customer Center" means the telephone service for Members to obtain information, make bookings and obtain tickets, Rewards and assistance.

“Loylogic Inc.” means the Company appointed by the Promoters to manage the “MilleMiglia Gallery” rewards catalog, as well as to perform the activities and functions required for Members to claim the catalog rewards.

"Miles" means the Program's unit of measurement. Miles are earned through the Promoters and/or their Partners or purchased from Points International Ltd. Earning Miles in specified quantities enables Members to claim and obtain Rewards.

"Qualifying Miles" means the Miles that enable Members to join or to renew membership of the Exclusive Clubs.

“MilleMiglia Gallery” means the catalog, available online, that Members can use their Miles earned to claim products and services other than Award Tickets, service class upgrades and Cash&Miles.

“MM” is the acronym of MilleMiglia.

"Partner" means an airline or a company or entity that carries out activities other than air transport (known, in this case, as a Commercial Partner), associated with the Program under a specific agreement. The Program Partners are listed in Appendix A.

"PIN" (Personal Identification Number) means a secret personal code that allows Members to access the dedicated Program section and other online services on the website www.alitalia.com.

"Points International Ltd." means the company authorized by the Promoters, under a specific agreement, to manage the sale and transfer of Miles in order to claim a reward.

"Reward" means the air ticket or other rewards that can be obtained using the Miles earned in compliance with the procedures set out in these Regulations, on the website www.alitalia.com and/or in the Program Communications.

"MilleMiglia Program" or "Program" means this rewards program whose purpose is to promote loyalty among Promoters' customers, and which is effective from January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2015, and extended to August 31, 2016 and subsequently extended to December 31, 2017.

“Promoters” of the MilleMiglia Program means Alitalia and Alitalia Loyalty.

"MilleMiglia Regulations" means the terms and conditions contained in this document, on the website www.alitalia.com and/or in the Program Communications, that govern the operation of the MilleMiglia reward program.

"Crediting of Missing Miles" means the crediting of Miles to a Member's account after the time at which such crediting would normally automatically take place.

"Itinerary receipt" means a document certifying the issue of an electronic ticket (e-ticket).

"SkyTeam" means the airline alliance established on June 22, 2000, as per Appendix A of these Regulations.

"Member" means a natural person who participates in the Program, by joining it and accepting the Regulations, and whose name is on the Card.

"Qualifying Flights" means all flights flown with fare class tickets for which Qualifying Miles can be earned.

1.2 Members' participation in the Program is free of charge and subject to acceptance of these Regulations. By joining the Program, Members accept these Regulations in full and any changes to them. 

1.3 The Promoters reserve the right to modify, fully or partially and at any time, these Regulations, the terms and conditions of participation in the Program, the rewards, the tables for earning and using Miles, the system for earning Qualifying Miles and the participation of any Program Partner. Members will be given prompt notice of any changes or additions, through publication on the website www.alitalia.com and/or through the Program Communications. Members do not have the right to claim any refund or compensation from the Promoters regarding changes required by law or made in accordance with applicable law. 

1.4 For further information about the Program, please see the MilleMiglia section of the website www.alitalia.com or call the Customer Center on the phone numbers listed on the website www.alitalia.com and/or in the Program Communications. 




2.1 All natural persons, who are at least 14 years of age and who are paying passengers on Alitalia flights and/or Partner Airline flights and/or have bought goods and services from the Promoters and/or Partners, are eligible to participate in the Program. Program registration is only valid if both a postal address for the MilleMiglia card to be sent to (and which, for the sole purpose of participation in localized promotional initiatives, will be deemed by the Promoters to be the Member's place of residence) and a personal email address, to which MilleMiglia correspondence can be sent, are provided. Registration for the Program by unemancipated minors is subject to the express approval of their parents or those with parental authority, who will be responsible for the registration of the minors. 

2.2 The Promoters reserve the right to deny Program participation to those who do not meet the requirements set out in these Regulations or to exclude them from the Program if failure to meet the above-mentioned requirements is subsequently discovered. If Program registration should contravene or fail to comply with the applicable provisions of the Regulations, the Promoters reserve the right to revoke the Member's registration and to cancel the Miles earned that have yet to be redeemed at the time the revocation is communicated, as well as to void any Rewards previously obtained but not yet redeemed.

2.3 To join the Program, you must register via the website www.alitalia.com or contact the Customer Center or via other channels communicated from time to time by the Promoters. Registration for the MilleMiglia Program requires that these Regulations have been read and accepted in full. If you are applying for a Co-branded card requiring membership of the Program, you can register to join the Program by completing the specific form so that your personal data can be communicated to the Promoters and Financial Partners promoting the card. 

2.4 Upon registration, Members are provided with a personal numerical code (MilleMiglia code), which must be given when booking flights and checking in at the airport for the relevant number of Miles to be credited. The personal numerical code identifying each Member corresponds to an account to which earned Miles will be credited: (i) resulting from flights actually taken (i.e. "flown") with Alitalia, using paid air tickets (not Reward tickets) (ii) resulting from flights actually taken with Partner Airlines using paid air tickets (not Reward tickets), (iii) resulting from the use of goods and/or services provided by Promoters, and (iv) from the purchase of products and the use of goods and/or services provided by other Partners, in accordance with the terms and conditions set out on the website www.alitalia.com and/or in the Program Communications.

2.5 Moreover, Members will receive at their own email address the PIN needed to access their dedicated services, as well as the specific instructions for doing so. Members bear sole responsibility for the confidentiality of their own PIN and the Promoters will not be responsible for any fraudulent use of the same. 

2.6 Members will be sent their MilleMiglia Card, bearing their personal information and personal numerical code, separately, after their first flight activity with Alitalia and/or with Partner Airlines and/or with Commercial Partners. The MilleMiglia Card bears the Member's name and may only be used by its holder. The Card remains the property of the Promoters and must be returned if requested by them or if the Member withdraws from the Program. In the event that the MilleMiglia Card is lost, stolen or damaged, the Member must notify the Customer Center promptly. The Customer Center may then re-issue the card or close the corresponding account, and open a new account to which the entire balance of the Miles earned will be transferred. In such an event, the Member will receive a new code, a new MilleMiglia Card and a new PIN. However, the Promoters will not be responsible for any fraudulent use of the lost or stolen MilleMiglia Card. If a PIN is lost, the Member should contact the Customer Center, which will issue a new PIN, by sending it to the email address provided in the Member's account profile. Members can also receive a new PIN using the appropriate recognition function on the website www.alitalia.com. To this end, Members should always keep their personal profile and email address up to date. For security reasons, once a PIN has been retrieved, Members should change their PIN using the information update function provided on the website www.alitalia.com. 

2.7 Each registration is made under the name of a single Member and requires the Member to provide his or her own personal information and to notify any changes thereof via the website or by contacting the Customer Center. The Member ensures the accuracy of all information provided to the Promoters and is solely responsible for it. The same personal numerical code or the same account cannot be registered to more than one person. If multiple codes or accounts are registered to the same Member, the Promoters will, after informing the Member in question, transfer the balance of the Miles earned to a single account and close the other accounts. In such case, if Miles relating to the same flight/service have been credited to multiple accounts in the name of the same Member, they will be credited just once to the single, valid account. 

2.8 Members' accounts are personal and in their name, meaning Members can only have or use Miles earned themselves and cannot have or use Miles earned by any other person, including any heirs.

2.9 The purchase and transfer of Miles between different accounts is not permitted other than as expressly provided for in these Regulations and stated on the website www.alitalia.com and/or in the Program Communications. 

2.10 Members who were registered for previous MilleMiglia Programs shall be automatically registered for the new Program, without prejudice to their right to request cancellation of their Membership. Members may leave the Program at any time prior to membership expiration. In such case, Members will be able to use the Miles earned to that point to claim a Reward; any residual Miles will be canceled at the time of withdrawal. Members must request withdrawal from the Program in writing, indicating their personal numerical code and attaching a copy of a valid, countersigned document, sending it to the email address privacy@alitalia.com. 

2.11 Members may not sell or trade their Miles in any way, except where expressly provided for in these Regulations and stated on the website www.alitalia.com and/or in the Program Communications. Similarly, Members may not sell or trade the advantages and benefits obtained through the Program, except where expressly provided for in these Regulations and stated on the website www.alitalia.com and/or in the Program Communications.
2.12 The Promoters reserve the right to offer promotional initiatives to specific groups of customers. By participating in such promotional initiatives, the Customer may receive a number of benefits in addition to those provided for by the Program. 

2.13 Program Members may subscribe to the Social Login service, which gives them access to all MilleMiglia services using the access credentials of their favorite social network. The personal data provided when subscribing to the service is collected and recorded by the Promoters in paper, electronic and/or computer and/or telematic formats, protected and processed with the appropriate means for ensuring security and confidentiality in accordance with the provisions of Legislative Decree no. 196 of June 30, 2003 on the protection of personal data.  




3.1 Members' participation in the Program is subject to compliance with all the conditions and rules of conduct specified in these Regulations. 

3.2 In particular, Members are prohibited from behaving in a manner that is improper, indecent, disrespectful or offensive toward employees of the Promoters or Program Partner Airlines, companies or other entities, or from any inappropriate behavior on board an aircraft or in areas reserved for Members, or from refusing to follow instructions given by employees of the Airline or Program Partner Airlines, companies or other entities.

3.3 Members may not falsify or modify the information relating to their participation in the Program in any way, and may not issue false or misleading statements or provide false or misleading information in order to gain advantages they are not entitled to. 

3.4 Miles and/or Rewards may not be sold, exchanged, auctioned or assigned by any means to third parties, unless the assignment is expressly permitted under these Regulations. The brokering of the purchase or sale of Miles and/or Rewards, the unauthorized purchasing or Rewards and the unauthorized use of Rewards are also forbidden.
3.5 The Miles may not under any circumstances be converted into cash. 

3.6 The Promoters reserve the right to conduct, at any time and without notice, checks on Members' accounts, with particular regard to the correct earning of Miles, as well as to use of the same and any Rewards, on both Alitalia and Partner services. The Promoters also reserve the right to claim damages for any incorrect use of the card, Miles or Rewards.

3.7 Any abuse or breach of these Regulations, fraud or false statements, are subject to appropriate administrative and/or legal action by the competent government authorities and Promoters. 

3.8 The Promoters reserve the right to exclude a Member from the Program, to withdraw the Card, including the Freccia Alata Per Sempre Card, and to cancel any Miles earned that have not yet been used, at the time at which the exclusion is notified, and to void any Rewards previously obtained but not yet redeemed, if the Member fails to comply with all of the conditions of these Regulations and/or his or her conduct does not comply with the same, with the law, with the General Conditions of Carriage of the Airline or one of the Partner Airlines or, more generally, with any other applicable rule or provision, or if it may harm the Promoters or Partners. Furthermore, if objective evidence is found of just cause, the Promoters are entitled to suspend the Member's MilleMiglia Card while they investigate the case. While the investigations are ongoing, the Member in question may not be permitted to use Miles or enjoy the benefits and services associated with the Program. 




The list of Program Partners is provided in Appendix A of these Regulations and on the website www.alitalia.com and/or in the Program Communications. Any changes will be promptly communicated to Members by the Promoters, it being understood that under no circumstances will the exclusion of a Partner from the list result in the loss of the Miles earned with the services provided by the same Partner.




5.1 Miles are the basic unit of calculation used by the Promoters for the Program. Members earn Miles on the Airline's flights and on those of the Program Partner Airlines, as well as when purchasing the goods and services of Promoters and Commercial Partners. Members also earn Miles on all flights operated by SkyTeam airlines, including code-sharing flights operated by the same, and on Alitalia code-sharing flights operated by Partner Airlines. Members do not earn Miles on Alitalia and/or other Partner Airline code-sharing flights operated by airlines that are not Program partners. 

5.2 The number of Miles accumulated for flights is calculated based on the IATA TPM (Ticketed Point Mileage) distance or on the minimum number of Miles envisaged by the Program between the flight's departure and destination airports and on the booking class used, which indicates the pre-selected rate. For multi-leg flights, Miles are credited in relation to individual legs. The number of Miles credited is specified in the miles earning tables available on the website www.alitalia.com and/or in the Program Communications, which are in force at the time the ticket for each leg is used. The content of these tables is only valid for the period specified on the website www.alitalia.com. The services provided and the products offered by Partner companies that are eligible for Miles are indicated on the website www.alitalia.com and/or in the Program Communications.

5.3 To have Miles credited automatically, Members must quote their personal numerical code when booking flights and must show their MilleMiglia Card when checking in at the airport. It may not be possible to credit Miles automatically at some airports. If Miles are not credited automatically, Members are entitled to a Crediting of Missing Miles by submitting a request within four (4) months of taking the flight to which the Miles refer, as specified on the website www.alitalia.com and/or in the Program Communications. If the services or products of a Commercial Partner are used, Members must quote their personal numerical code when booking the service or purchasing the product. If Miles are not credited for a service or product offered by a Partner, it will be necessary to contact the Partner's Customer Center directly. 

5.4 In the event that a Member is also registered in another Partner Airline's loyalty program and flies with one of those Airlines, he will not be able to have duplicate Miles credited to the account of that program as well as to the account of this Program. If the Promoters establish that a Member has fraudulently obtained duplicate Miles, they reserve the right to void the unduly credited Miles and to exclude the Member from the Program, to cancel any Rewards previously obtained but not yet redeemed and to request damages. 

5.5 In the event that a Member is also registered on another Partner Airline's loyalty program and has earned Miles that have been credited to the MilleMiglia Program, under no circumstances can these Miles be transferred from the MilleMiglia Program and credited to the Partner Airline's loyalty program and/or vice versa.

5.6 Any tickets purchased but not used are not eligible for Miles. Miles due for using air transport services are credited to the Member's account only after the flights have been actually taken. 

5.7 Any flights purchased by Members but used by others are not eligible for Miles.

5.8 The Promoters reserve the right to undertake promotional initiatives or enter into specific agreements through which Miles can be awarded on different grounds and in addition to those provided for in these Regulations. Any such initiatives will be communicated on the website www.alitalia.com and/or in the Program Communications.

5.9 Miles obtained after using Commercial Partner services or products are governed by the rules communicated by these Partners, which are usually posted on their websites (see the links in Appendix A).

5.10 Miles cannot be earned from flights taken as Rewards.
5.11 Miles may not be earned on certain special fares and/or booking classes on the Airline's flights and/or Promoters' services and products and/or of Partner services or products with particularly discounted rates/prices. The Promoters do, however, reserve the right to attribute Miles for these special rates/prices during specific promotional campaigns, of which Members will be suitably notified.

5.12 Benefits associated with Membership of the Exclusive Clubs cannot be claimed and Miles cannot be earned from flights that are free of charge or with discounts of over 40% on the applicable fare (excluding taxes and surcharges) and/or identified by discount codes ID and AD. Any Miles credited from these flights will be canceled.

5.13 Miles will not be credited for flights taken on airlines that are not Program Partners, even if originally booked through the Airline or for a ticket issued for the Airline. However, if one of the Airline's flights is canceled within 36 hours of departure and the flight is rebooked with an airline that is not a Program Partner, the Member will still be entitled to earn Miles for that flight.

5.14 Charter flights are not eligible for Miles. 

5.15 Program Partners are the only parties responsible for the conditions for awarding Miles, following the use of their services or the purchase of their products and the related credit. Members who wish to use Partner services or products are required to check current applicable conditions with the Partners. The Promoters assume no liability for services or products offered by its Partners. Any related complaints must be addressed directly to those Partners. 

5.16 Miles cannot be traded by Members nor converted into cash. The brokering of the purchase or sale of miles, transfers of miles and purchases of miles if not expressly specified in the Program terms and conditions published on the website www.alitalia.com and/or in the Program Communications are also forbidden.

In this regard, in order for Members to achieve the number of Miles required to obtain the Program Rewards, Members who have duly registered in the Program may buy, give or transfer Miles for themselves or for other registered Members by going to the MilleMiglia section of the website www.alitalia.com, where they will have access to the portal of Points International Ltd., which is a company authorized by the Promoters, by specific agreement, to manage the service for buying/transferring Miles. The headquarters of this Company are in the Province of Ontario, Canada (hereinafter referred to as "Points.com").

5.17 Miles earned by Members are detailed on their statements, which can be viewed on the website www.alitalia.com. Members are responsible for checking their own statements and any complaints will be accepted only if they refer to activities in the month prior to the date of the complaint. The statement is considered to have been approved one month after the last activity. In any event, the Promotors retain the right to not award Miles or to cancel any Miles mistakenly credited at any time.

5.18 In the event of a free upgrade to a superior class, awarded by the Airline or one of the Partner Airlines for operational reasons, Members will be credited for the Miles according to the travel class shown on the ticket rather than the class actually flown.
5.19 After a twenty-four (24) month period, during which the Member has not carried out any activities that earn Miles, the Miles are deemed to have expired and the Promoters will cancel the expired Miles on the Member's account. Members are responsible for checking the expiration date of their own Miles. The Promoters are not required to communicate the cancellation of Miles pursuant to the above provisions.

5.20 If no activity is recorded on the Member's Card for five years following the opening of the account, the Promoters reserve the right to cancel the Member's account. The Member will in any event be entitled to register once again on the MilleMiglia Program at any time.

5.21 This rewards Program enables Miles to be earned until December 31, 2017. Rewards may be claimed by Members until January 31, 2018 and will be awarded to the rightful owner at the same time, with the exception of Rewards that must be delivered to the Member's home, in which case the regulations specified on the pages relating to such initiatives on the website www.alitalia.com and on millemigliagallery.com will apply.  




6.1 Members with children between 2 and 13 years of age can earn Miles on their own account for Alitalia flights flown by their children. 

6.2 Each child between 2 and 13 years of age can be linked to the MilleMiglia code of one parent only, with the prior agreement and authorization of the other parent.

6.3 Each Member may also, as a parent, have more than one child linked to their account.
6.4 To activate this program, the parent must fill out the form on the website www.alitalia.com. It can take up to 30 days to assign the child's identification code and activate the program in the system while the necessary checks are carried out. Where the email address provided by the Member at the time of registration with the initiative is different from the address held in the Member database, the latest email address provided will replace the previous address. The new email address will be used for all future communications from Promoters. 

6.5 The Miles that the child earns for each single flight will only be credited to the account of the parent (Member) that the child is linked with, and only for flights taken after the identification code assigned to the child has been provided, and according to the MilleMiglia Program regulations in force at the time of the flight, up to a maximum of 100% of the Miles flown (= base Miles), even if the fare has a higher mileage value. Miles cannot be earned for flights taken by children with promotional fares that earn up to 100 Miles.

6.6 The Miles earned with the flights taken by children cannot be used to renew or gain access to the Exclusive Clubs. 

6.7 Parents cannot earn promotional Miles on flights flown by the child. The child's flight activities are not included in any promotional initiatives proposed or launched by the MilleMiglia Program and/or by the Promoters unless otherwise expressly stated.
6.8 Miles are credited to the parent's account whether the child flies unaccompanied, with the parent or with a third party. If Miles are not credited, a Crediting of Missing Miles may be requested, as provided for in these Regulations.
6.9 Once the child turns 14 years of age, the child's link to the parent's account will automatically end. For the first activity, the parent or person with parental authority may register the child on the Program by providing the child's identification code. From then on, the child's identification code will become his or her personal MilleMiglia code and all miles will be credited directly to his or her account. 

6.10 For those under 18 years old, registering for the MilleMiglia Program and providing personal data is subject to the consent and responsibility of parents or those with the relevant authority. 

6.11 The Promoters decline all responsibility for any false information provided by Members, punishable pursuant to Articles 483, 495, and 496 of the Italian Penal Code and applicable laws.





7.1 Members may request standard award tickets (Award Ticket) on flights operated by the Airline and by Program Partner Airlines. Award Tickets cannot be claimed for code-sharing flights operated by Airlines that are not Program Partners. Any other information relating to flights that are eligible for Rewards and other Rewards is provided on the website www.alitalia.com and/or in the Program Communications. The Award Ticket can be requested for Economy class or Business class.

7.2. Award tickets are valid for twelve (12) months from the date of first issue, which cannot be extended under any circumstances.

7.3       Award tickets can be obtained:

1)      Using an amount of Miles and a payment contribution (corresponding to the value of taxes and surcharges), as indicated on the website www.alitalia.com;

2)      Using Miles only up to the full amount of the Reward (corresponding to the fare, taxes and surcharges) as indicated on the website www.alitalia.com.

7.4 Destinations for which and procedures through which Award Tickets can be claimed and the amount of Miles required to cover the fare for each destination and for each service class, are shown in the relevant rewards tables available on the website www.alitalia.com (Alitalia Rewards Table and Multicarrier Rewards Table).

7.5 The number of miles or the payment contribution required for taxes and surcharges vary depending on when the Award Ticket was issued, based on pre-selected departure and destination airports and on the operating carrier, and are communicated when requesting the Award Ticket online at www.alitalia.com or through the MilleMiglia Member Service

7.6 Award tickets can be awarded to Members or to other people specified by Members. Award tickets may not be traded or sold. 

7.7 After earning the required number of Miles, Members can book an Award Ticket by visiting the MilleMiglia section of the website www.alitalia.com or by contacting the Customer Center, specifying that the booking relates to a Reward. Bookings by redeeming Rewards cannot be made through the Airline's travel agencies or ticket desk or through third-party travel agencies. 

7.8 Bookings will be automatically canceled if the Award Ticket is not issued within the time limit indicated at the time of booking.

7.9 Any Award Tickets requested by telephone from the Customer Center will be sent electronically.  Any expenses payment contributions shall be made by credit card. Alternatively, Members may collect Award Tickets by going directly to one of the Airline's ticket offices after having made the booking through the Customer Center. In such an event, expense payment contributions may also be paid in cash and the Member may be charged an issuance fee. 

7.10 In the event that the applicant is not the holder of the MilleMiglia account in question, upon issue of the Award Ticket, a copy of the travel documents will be sent to the email address given in the Member account holder's profile to confirm that he or she is willing to issue an Award Ticket to a beneficiary, as well as to the address indicated by the beneficiary. Where no email address is available in the Member's account profile, it will not be possible to issue Rewards to beneficiaries other than the account holder. 

7.11 In the event that the Award Ticket is issued to a beneficiary other than the MilleMiglia account holder, at check-in the beneficiary must present the necessary documentation for the Award Ticket: travel document, personal identification document, a written proxy signed by the MilleMiglia account holder and photocopies of the MilleMiglia account holder's identification document and MilleMiglia Card. 

7.12 Seats on board the Airline's flights that are reserved for Award Ticket beneficiaries are limited and the availability of Rewards may vary depending on the date, the season and the destination. The Promoters guarantee that a minimum of two (2) Reward seats will be available once the sale of seats on the flight commences until all seats are sold. The availability of Reward seats on flights operated by Partner Airlines is not the responsibility of the Promoters, but of the Partner Airlines. 

7.13 For each Award Ticket, a maximum of two (2) layovers (transits) at intermediate airports between the points of origin and destination are permitted. Requested stops (stop overs) are not permitted. In the event of a stopover, two separate Award Tickets must be issued. For travel itineraries involving the use of more than one Partner Airline or for flights with Program Partner Airlines, please check the relevant Multicarrier Rewards table available on the website www.alitalia.com.

7.14 Beneficiaries of specific fare discounts (e.g. minors, students, pensioners, etc.) are not entitled to any reduction of the number of Miles required for Award Tickets.

7.15 Under no circumstances will Miles spent on Rewards be credited back to a Member's account, unless the Award Ticket is not used, either in full or in part, due to causes that are attributable to Alitalia and without prejudice to the exceptions indicated on the website www. alitalia.com.

In any event, Members may request that the Miles used to cover any taxes, surcharges and payment contributions of any partially or fully unused Award Tickets be credited once again to their accounts. 

7.16 The Promoters reserve the right to issue promotional Award Tickets with a limited validity of less than twelve (12) months. Expired Award Tickets cannot be replaced or changed.
7.17 Changes to Award Tickets (in terms of date/time, destination, beneficiary and/or itinerary and/or carrier) may be made, as long as they occur within the Reward's period of validity (if the beneficiary changes, the previously assigned seat cannot be guaranteed). Changes shall be made in return for a cash fee or a deduction in Miles (the relevant amount can be found on the website www.alitalia.com) if required by the type of Reward. If a change in itinerary results in residual Miles, these will be lost and will under no circumstances be refunded to the Member. Any changes must be made by the MilleMiglia Customer Center; any changes made by other offices of the Promoters, the Airline or third-party travel agencies or other Airlines are not permitted. 

7.18 Changes of itinerary and/or beneficiary of a partially used ticket may only be made upon payment of a fee as specified on the website www.alitalia.com, requesting the reimbursement of the miles from the unused return flight(s) and the issuing of a corresponding one-way Reward in accordance with the rewards table in effect for this ticket type.
7.19 Rewards cannot be used on Airlines other than those specified on the ticket.
7.20 No change of beneficiary or reimbursement is permitted if an Award Ticket is issued and the MilleMiglia Member holding the ticket subsequently dies. 

7.21 The current "Alitalia Conditions of Carriage for Passengers and Baggage" apply to the rules on carrier liability in relation to flights operated for the redemption of Rewards (available on the website www.alitalia.com). 

7.22 The approximate value of individual Rewards shall be determined based on air fares in effect at the time the Rewards are issued. 



7.23 As a Reward, Members can also request a travel class upgrade for tickets purchased for flights (individual legs) operated by the Airline. However, upgrading depends on the actual availability of Reward seats on board in the superior class. These seats are limited in number. The procedures and the booking classes that allow for an upgrade and the mileage necessary to obtain an upgrade are specified on the relevant pages of the website www.alitalia.com and in the Program Communications. Upgrade requests can only be made once a ticket has been issued and within the specified time frame and according to the applicable procedure. The beneficiary of the service may be the Member and/or a person holding a paid ticket indicated by the Member. Waiting-list upgrades are not permitted. Miles used for upgrades are non-refundable and no changes to the itinerary and/or date and/or beneficiary are permitted for upgrades that have already been confirmed. Miles credited for flights on which an upgrade was obtained correspond to the amount awarded for that flight in Economy class. The conditions of the original ticket remain valid in the event of an upgrade. 



7.24 Members can use any Miles earned to make donations to non-profit organizations and charities by following the instructions on the website www.alitalia.com and/or in the Program Communications. Donated Miles are non-refundable and will not be credited back to the Member's account or be available for reuse by the Member under any circumstances. The times and procedures for using this Reward are specified on the website www.alitalia.com and should be checked by Members. 



7.25 Members of the MilleMiglia Program can use any Miles earned to claim Reward items and services from the MilleMiglia Gallery online catalog, which is available on the website www.millemigliagallery.com. The times, catalog rewards and the procedures for using these are specified and regulated on the Gallery website and should be checked by Members.



7.26  Cash & Miles offers the chance to use miles, in full or in part, from a minimum of 5,000 miles, to obtain discounts on the purchase price of air tickets at the applicable fare on flights operated by Alitalia (code-share flights are not included) or free tickets.

7.27 Tickets issued with Cash & Miles follow all of the rules governing the applicable fare chosen by the Member during the purchasing stage, and must be used in accordance with the terms and conditions stipulated by this fare. Combining an Award Ticket with the Cash & Miles promotion [link to Cash & Miles rules], or vice versa, is not permitted.

7.28 Miles can be earned on tickets issued with Cash & Miles, based on the booking class requested and in accordance with the earning tables in force on the date of the flight.

7.29 Program Members may also use their Miles earned to request additional services available on flights operated by Alitalia, such as extra baggage, Extra Comfort seats and paid class upgrades. Additional services can be obtained free of charge using Miles corresponding to the total amount stipulated for each service.

7.30 Additional services and information on the Miles needed to purchase the services should be requested by contacting MilleMiglia Member Services.

7.31 For all matters not expressly addressed in these Regulations, please see the Terms and Conditions of the promotion, which are available on the website www.alitalia.com. 

7.32 1 MilleMiglia coupons and vouchers are deemed to be Rewards.

7.33 The Promoters reserve the right to offer other Rewards or other opportunities to use Miles, providing the relevant terms and conditions on the website www.alitalia.com. The Promoters also reserve the right to run promotional initiatives to allocate Rewards or use Miles with a limited validity or reserved for Members of Exclusive Clubs only.



8.1 Members who earn the required number of Qualifying Miles or Qualifying Flights indicated on the website www.alitalia.com and/or in the Program Communications are automatically registered for the Ulisse Club, the Freccia Alata Club or the Freccia Alata Plus Club, free of charge. Qualifying Miles can be earned from January 1 to December 31 of each year of the Program by using flights provided by the Airline, the SkyTeam Airlines or other Partner companies, where specifically indicated. Exclusive Club Membership involves the Promoters' granting of the benefits and advantages specified on the website www.alitalia.com and/or in the Program Communications. The Promoters reserve the right to modify these benefits and advantages at their sole discretion for the duration of the Rewards program, duly notifying Members of this with sufficient notice. The Promoters reserve the right to modify and/or revoke the status of Freccia Alata Plus Per Sempre Member for both new and existing Members, notifying Members of this with at least 6 months' notice. In addition to the above, the Promoters reserve the right to allow participation in the Ulisse Club, the Freccia Alata Club or the Freccia Alata Plus Club to particular Member categories or in relation to specific promotional initiatives. 

8.2 Registration in the Ulisse, Freccia Alata and Freccia Alata Plus Clubs is valid until March 31 of the second year after the year in which the Qualifying Miles were earned or the Qualifying Flights were taken for the granting of membership status, except when a different date is expressly specified relating to specific promotional initiatives. 

8.3 The Qualifying Miles required to access the Exclusive Clubs are simply the reference threshold and do not affect the option to use the Miles earned for claiming Rewards, as the Qualifying Miles are not deducted from the Member's account at the time of access to the Exclusive Club, unless otherwise stated in relation to a specific promotional initiative.

8.4 Status as a Member of the Ulisse, Freccia Alata Club or Freccia Alata Plus Club is granted from the beginning of the month following the date on which the achievement of the Mile threshold required to access the Clubs is acknowledged in the Program management systems. 

8.5 The benefits associated with the Ulisse, Freccia Alata and Freccia Alata Plus Club status are not granted to Members of the MilleMiglia Program in the cases provided for in Article 5.12. 

8.6 The Promoters reserve the right to offer the opportunity, at any time, for Members to access one or more Exclusive Clubs, including through payment. 



9.1 In view of the role of Program Co-promoter and Manager assumed by Alitalia Loyalty S.p.A., pursuant to Article 5 of Italian Presidential Decree no. 430/2001, Alitalia Loyalty should be considered the co-Data Controller with Alitalia of data relating to customers registered on the MilleMiglia Program, pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 28 of the Privacy Code (Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 as subsequently amended and supplemented). The aforementioned companies have an equal interest in relation to the Program's objectives and equal decision-making authority on management of the same. 

9.2 Since Alitalia Loyalty's main objective is to manage and develop services related to the customer loyalty Program, Alitalia has named Alitalia Loyalty as the Data Processor pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 29 of the Privacy Code, with particular regard to the role of Program manager and customer relations. At the same time, Alitalia Loyalty has named Alitalia as the Data Processor, with particular regard to the management of infrastructure, systems and security measures. 

9.3 All personal data supplied at the time of registration or subsequently are processed by the Data Controllers in accordance with applicable laws and regulations on personal data protection and, in particular, in accordance with the Privacy Code. 

9.4 Personal data must be processed in order to manage Members' participation in the Program, to allocate any Rewards to Members, as well as other benefits associated with their participation in the Program and their Cardholder status, and to provide related services, in accordance with these Regulations. The Holders will also process particular data categories that Members supply when registering for the Program on the website www.alitalia.com. This information relates to meal preferences and assigned seats on flights operated by Alitalia and Partners. This information is useful for offering Program Members a more personalized service. By selecting their preferred options and registering for the Program on the website www.alitalia.com, Members give their consent for the Holders to use any data that may disclose aspects such as their health status, potential religious affiliation and possible membership of a particular ethnic group (e.g. when Members choose a diabetic meal or a kosher menu). This data will only be used to provide Members with personalized service. Data may occasionally be disclosed to third-party service providers (such as check-in operators other than Alitalia) for the aforementioned purposes only. The disclosure of such data is optional and any failure to supply it will have no effect on Members' registration for and participation in the Program. 

9.5 The correct performance of the aforementioned data processing activities implies that Members' personal data may be accessed by the Data Controllers' sales staff and by third-party service providers in the context of the Program (for example, direct marketing companies and market analysts, Customer Centers, standardization companies, IT service providers or customer care service providers) for purposes strictly related to and instrumental in managing the Program and, subject to Members' prior consent, for purposes of commercial communications. The Data Controllers' sales staff shall act as data supervisors for the Data Controllers, whereas the latter companies shall act as processors of such data. A list of third-party companies providing services associated with the Program, and responsible for processing Members' personal data, is available from the Data Controllers' offices. The Data Controllers shall ensure that the personal data in question is processed in accordance with the principles of necessity, lawfulness, accuracy, quality of data and proportionality and, in any case, ensuring data confidentiality. Data will be processed electronically, manually or in paper form, and will consist of the comparison, classification and calculation of the data, as well as of its sorting and classification into lists, all in accordance with the minimum security requirements to protect the confidentiality of the subject to which the data refers and to avoid the risk of it being accessed by unauthorized third parties. All data, grouped into categories and/or clusters in anonymous form, may be used in the Holders' statistical analyses to check the marketing preferences of its customers. The Holders also ensure that any personal data relating to Program Members is used exclusively for purposes related to participation in the Program and for sending organizational information to Members regarding their Membership status and possible expiration of benefits associated with the Program. All data provided by Members at registration and/or subsequently may also be used, subject to the Member's consent, for sending commercial communications and for direct marketing purposes, as well as, and always subject to the Member's consent, for profiling and market research purposes. Any disclosure or dissemination of data not required by law or not expressly authorized by Members is hereby excluded. 

9.6 While browsing the website www.alitalia.com, information will be collected that allows your computer or browser to be identified using files called "cookies." "Cookies" are strings of encrypted text that can be stored on the user's cell phone (if accessing the Mobile site) or computer, so they can be quickly identified at a later date. Cookies for the Mobile site only store data relating to First Name, Last Name and Ticket Number. Cookies for computers allow websites to be personalized, making navigation easier for the user and—by quantitatively checking access to various web pages—allowing better presentation of the most requested information. For further details and information on cookies, please visit the Privacy section of the website www.alitalia.com. 

9.7 Personal data will be processed throughout the Program and its subsequent editions, within the terms and conditions set out in these Regulations, and will be stored after its expiration and/or a Member's withdrawal for the exclusive purpose of handling complaints and administrative/accounting disputes. After the expiration of or withdrawal from the Program, data will be kept for the statutory period of limitation applicable to Members' rights. Nevertheless, personal data will be kept for profiling or direct marketing purposes for a period not exceeding 12 and 24 months, respectively, from when it was registered, unless it is effectively anonymized to prevent the identification of those involved, even if indirectly or by linking with other databases. Any personal data that does not require archiving in relation to the purposes for which it was processed will be deleted or anonymized by both the Data Controllers and any third parties to which it was disclosed for the aforementioned purposes. 

9.8 On registering for the Program, all personal data marked by an asterisk (*) must be provided in order to fully participate in the Program and related initiatives, and to fulfill any legal requirements. Any refusal to provide the requested personal data, whether in part or in full, during the implementation of the Program, may prevent the Holders and third-party service providers acting within the context of the Program from fully implementing or correctly fulfilling any obligations arising from the Program. On the other hand, supplying personal data other than that marked by an asterisk (*) is optional and any failure to supply the same will not affect the Member's registration and participation in the Program in any way. 

9.9 Members will be given the appropriate information on the processing of their personal data that is collected for the sole purposes of the Program. Consent will be requested for each purpose separately, if required by law. Specifically, Members are entitled to freely express their choices on the processing of their personal data, whereby they may also state their wishes for each of the identified purposes, such as the mailing of any commercial communications, including all of the Program Communications, with the exception of organizational communications directly related to the Member and the expiration of benefits. Members may change their data, indicated preferences and consents provided, at any time, by updating their MilleMiglia profile in the section dedicated to the Program on the website www.alitalia.com or by contacting the Customer Center. 

9.10 Members are at all times entitled to obtain confirmation of the existence of their personal data, to know its contents and origin, to check its accuracy or request that it be supplemented, updated or rectified. Members may also request its deletion or conversion into an anonymous form, or for any data processed in breach of the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Code to be blocked, and object in all cases to its processing for legitimate reasons, by sending a signed request in writing and attaching a copy of a valid identification document, to Alitalia at the address privacy@alitalia.com, who will respond in conjunction with Alitalia Loyalty. The Italian Personal Data Protection Authority has provided a form for “Exercising rights concerning the protection of personal data” available online on the Authority's website. 

9.11 To withdraw from the Program, Members must submit a written request indicating their personal MilleMiglia code and attaching a signed copy of a valid identity document. The request should be sent by email to privacy@alitalia.com or faxed to the Customer Center at +39 06 65627132/7133. Any available Miles on the Member's account that have not yet been used will be canceled upon the closing of the card.  



10.1 The Promoters may temporarily suspend or terminate the Program before the expiration date indicated in Article 5.21 only with just cause, in accordance with Article 1989 et seq. of the Civil Code.

10.2 The Promoters will notify Members of any such temporary suspensions or early termination of the Program by means of the website www.alitalia.com and/or the Program Communications. In the event of early termination, the Promoters undertake to notify the Members at least 30 days in advance, while the Promoters will notify Members of suspensions immediately after the occurrence of the same, it being understood that the Promoters will in any event undertake to notify Members both of temporary suspensions and early terminations of the Program with as much notice as possible.

11.3 In the event of early termination of the Program, Members will be entitled to use any previously earned Miles over the six months following the date of termination. In any event, early termination of the Program will not entitle Members to redeem Rewards after January 31, 2018, irrespective of the date of termination of the Program, since this is the deadline for redeeming Rewards for this edition. 



11.1 For all matters not expressly addressed or governed by these Regulations, please refer to relevant legislation, with special reference to Italian Presidential Decree no. 430 of October 26, 2001, (published in Official Journal no. 289 of December 13, 2001) on "Regulations concerning the revision of the rules governing competitions and reward programs, as well as local events" pursuant to Art. 19, paragraph 4, of law no. 449 of December 27, 1997 . 

11.2 In the event of any conflicts between the provisions of these Regulations and the above-mentioned decree, the latter shall prevail.
