Alitalia BusinessConnect entitles your company to earn miles each time you and your employees travel for business, and not only by air.

 

 

Here you will find all of the information you need to use your Alitalia BusinessConnect memebership to the utmost.

JOINING ALITALIA BUSINESSCONNECT

Joining Alitalia BusinessConnect is simple and completely free.

To join this world of benefits, all you need to do is enter your data in the application form as required. Here are a few suggestions for filling it in:

Step 1) Company: enter the company name

Step 2) Contacts: enter the company e-mail and phone number

Step 3) Administration: enter the personal data, e-mail and phone number of the person* who will administer the Alitalia BusinessConnect account. That person will receive information, news and promotions by e-mail for earning more miles. N.B.: we suggest you enter the mobile phone number in the phone number field. We will use it rarely and only to provide important information regarding Alitalia BusinessConnect.

Step 4) Notifications: you can choose which kind of information you receive from one the following:

a) Alitalia news and special offers: information and updates regarding Alitalia BusinessConnect, exclusive promotions for flying Alitalia at the most convenient prices and for earning extra miles

b) Alitalia and Partner Airlines news and special offers: in addition to the notifications of a), news from Alitalia BusinessConnect Partners and promotions that allow you to earn lots of extra miles

c) no notifications

N.B.: should you choose “no notifications”, you should be aware that:

- as indicated in Art. 12 of the MilleMiglia Regulations, we are obliged to send you some institutional notifications, containing information, regarding your Alitalia BusinessConnect membership

- you will not be entitled to receive notifications containing promotional offers that allow you to earn extra miles

N.B.: please remember that your personal data will be used solely and exclusively for the purposes linked to your Alitalia BusinessConnect membership, and will never be transferred to third parties.

If you need help in completing your registration, please send an e-mail to CommercialPartnership@alitalia.com, indicating the data of your Company and of the person who will administer the Alitalia BusinessConnect account.

Within a week from registering, if the company has the necessary prerequisites, the account Administrator will receive two important notifications by e-mail, containing the codes for joining Alitalia BusinessConnect. We suggest you keep them because they could be useful in the future.

N.B.: A company belonging to a multinational company may not have the prerequisites for enrolling in Alitalia BusinessConnect. Please make sure that you do not have an existing business agreement with Alitalia already in place.

* Legal representative of the company, or any other subject vested with the necessary powers.

CODES FOR JOINING ALITALIA BUSINESSCONNECT

Within a week from registration, two Welcome to Alitalia BusinessConnect notifications will be sent by e-mail to the account Administrator. The notifications confirm that registration was successful and separately provide two very important codes that you should always keep at hand: the MilleMiglia BusinessConnect code and the Company Code.

The MilleMiglia BusinessConnect code allows:

•  to access the Personal Area of Alitalia BusinessConnect

• to use the miles earned to claim award tickets, discounts with the Cash&Miles option or additional services.

The Company Code allows to earn miles for the flights taken. The code must always be communicated when booking a flight or when purchasing tickets, that can be done:

• directly via alitalia.com

• via the Alitalia BusinessConnect Contact Center of reference

• via the travel agencies of reference

PERSONAL AREA AND PIN

By entering your Personal Area you can administer in total autonomy the main services regarding Alitalia BusinessConnect: without waiting, 24/7.

To access your Personal Area, enter the MilleMiglia BusinessConnect code and the PIN.

The MilleMiglia BusinessConnect code is indicated in all Alitalia BusinessConnect notifications sent by e-mail.

To protect the account, the PIN is not sent automatically by e-mail. It is sent only at your explicit request via the Retrieve PIN function. By entering the MilleMiglia BusinessConnect code and the Company name exactly as it was entered during registration and indicated in the first welcome e-mail, the PIN will be sent by e-mail to the account Administrator.

 

Enter the BusinessConnect Personal Area

ALITALIA BUSINESSCONNECT CONTACT CENTER

The Alitalia BusinessConnect Contact Center is at your disposal should you wish to:

  • change the mailing address and/or telephone number of the Company: we accept requests only from the account Administrator
  • change the name and/or e-mail address of the account Administrator: we accept requests only from the company owner
  • update consent to receive notifications
  • check crediting of miles
  • issue award tickets and purchase Alitalia tickets using the Cash&Miles option


Contact the Alitalia BusinessConnect Contact Center of reference. If you wish to check crediting of miles, it may also be contacted via e-mail by writing to abcprofile@alitalia.com.

UPDATE DATA

By keeping updated the reference data of the company and of the account Administrator, you will receive important information and all of the news regarding Alitalia BusinessConnect.

The e-mail address is the key communication channel for remaining in contact with Alitalia BusinessConnect. By e-mail we will send you important updates and promotions allowing you to earn extra miles.

The phone number is an important communication channel too but used only in exceptional cases. We suggest you enter your mobile phone number. It will be used but rarely and only to relay important information, even via SMS.

N.B.: please remember that your personal data will be used solely and exclusively for the purposes linked to your Alitalia BusinessConnect membership, and will never be transferred to third parties.

To update your company data, contact the Alitalia BusinessConnect Contact Center of reference.

CONSENT TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATIONS

Alitalia BusinessConnect periodically sends useful information and promotions by e-mail. You can choose to receive only those concerning Alitalia or in addition those concerning Alitalia’s Business partners.

Obviously, you can also choose not to receive any notifications at all, with the exception of those envisaged by contract that contain service information regarding your Alitalia BusinessConnect membership that we are obliged to send you.

N.B.: The data of the company and of the account Administrator will be used solely and exclusively for the purposes linked to Alitalia BusinessConnect membership, and will never be transferred to third parties.

To change your consent to receive notifications, contact the Alitalia BusinessConnect Contact Center.

AWARD TICKETS

The miles earned and credited to the company account may be redeemed to request an award ticket for any one of the flights operated by Alitalia or by its Partner Airlines*. Check the tables for the miles required to redeem award tickets and remember that award tickets do not entitle to earn miles.

You may request an award ticket one way only or for a round trip, and you may select your service class (Economy, Premium Economy** or Magnifica).

To claim an award ticket, follow these steps:

  • access your Personal Area
  • select "Award tickets" from the drop-down menu
  • choose date and destination, indicating the departure airport and the arrival airport
  • select your flight among the “standard flights” available, indicated in the green column
  • enter all of the data requested: the fields are prefilled with the data of the company, so you must enter the name and all of the data of the beneficiary, including the MilleMiglia code, if a Program member
  • select your seat
  • conclude the transaction.

If you wish, when paying, instead of a credit card you may use the miles you have on the account (using the cursor) to pay the cost of taxes and supplements; to choose the amount of miles to be used, just use the practical cursor.

The digital ticket will be sent by e-mail to the account’s Administrator and at the same time the miles redeemed will be subtracted from the total of miles earned.

* Award tickets on flights operated by Partner Airlines ANA - All Nippon Airways, GOL, China Eastern and Shanghai Airlines, may be requested only through the Alitalia BusinessConnect Customer Service available from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00, p.m. by calling +39 06 65859013 (standard landline call charges apply at the rates set out in your calling plan).

** The award ticket in Premium Economy, on flights operated by Alitalia, may be requested only through the Alitalia BusinessConnect Contact Center .

 

Claim the award ticket!

DISCOUNTS WITH THE CASH&MILES OPTION

Thanks to this option, miles can be turned immediately into a discount on the full or partial purchase price of an Alitalia air ticket, for example: 10,000 miles are equivalent to a 30€ discount.

But the benefit doesn’t stop here! Flights purchased using miles entitle you to earn more miles to be used for getting more discounts.

To use your miles for discounts, follow these steps:

  • access your Personal Area
  • select "Award Tickets" from the drop-down menu
  • choose date and destination, indicating the departure airport and the arrival airport
  • select your flight among the “standard flights” available, indicated in the purple column (N.B.: for each flight available the table gives two values: the miles required to purchase the entire rate and the amount for taxes, expressed in euros. Based on the miles available on the account, you can decide how many of them to use as payment, also for the purpose of paying the cost of taxes and supplements.)
  • enter all of the data requested: the fields are prefilled with the data of the company, so you must enter the name and all of the data of the beneficiary, including the MilleMiglia code, if a Program member
  • select your seat, if allowed with the price chosen
  • when paying, choose how many miles to use (by moving the cursor) and the amount to be paid by credit card
  • conclude the transaction.

The digital ticket will be sent by e-mail to the account’s Administrator and at the same time the miles redeemed will be subtracted from the total of miles earned.

 

Use the discount! 

ACCOUNT STATEMENT

This section is where you can view your miles, and more specifically:

  • total miles available
  • quantity of miles earned
  • quantity of miles redeemed

Immediately visible are your last 20 movements, but you can make a search by time period, starting from a specific date.

If the Company Code (for crediting miles from flights) is entered correctly, total earned miles will be displayed according to the following schedule:

 Alitalia and Partner Airlines flights, miles credited on a monthly basis within the end of the month following that of the flight. The quantity indicated is equivalent to the total number of miles earned on all flights taken in the previous month


Miles redemption activities (request for award tickets and Cash&Miles) will be displayed in real time and the miles used simultaneously will be subtracted from the total miles on the account.

N.B.: “bonus miles” linked to promotions by Alitalia are indicated separately from the total number of “standard” miles to which they refer.

Viewing your account statement is easy and quick:

  • access your Personal Area
  • select "Account statement" from the drop-down menu
  • filter by time period, if necessary
